An intimate discussion with internationally acclaimed artists from Taiwan and Brooklyn Street Art exploring the passion, journeys, and human THE HUMAN SIDE: Conversations with The Collective ARTIST TALK | FREE EVENT |FIRST COME FIRST SERVE THURSDAY MAY 28, 2026 5-7pm (AFTER PARTY TO FOLLOW) Setting the stage for this special conversation are six groundbreaking artists from Taiwan whose work and influence have helped shape contemporary street art culture on a global scale — COLASA, VASTAR, ALLO, Candy Kuo, and Mr. Ogay. Through murals, public art, illustration, and creative activism, each artist brings a unique voice and perspective that reflects the power of art to transcend language, borders, and backgrounds. Moderating the discussion are Jaime Rojo and Steven P. Harrington of Brooklyn Street Art — the internationally recognized online publication and cultural platform documenting street art and public art movements around the world. Through years of storytelling, photography, journalism, and advocacy, Brooklyn Street Art has become one of the leading voices preserving and elevating contemporary street culture on a global scale. Together, this conversation explores the human stories behind the murals — the journeys, struggles, inspirations, and global connections that continue to make The Bushwick Collective more than an event, but a living international creative community.
