Cheese Tasting 101 Taste of the Caves

It’s everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Murray's cave cheeses in one delicious guided tasting through six cheese families. Slice into knowledge at Cheese 101, an introductory journey into the world of cheese. Taught by a Murray's affineur, this expert will guide you through a tasting of exceptional cheeses representing six cheese families, delving into everything from rind development to milk type. Expect a lively discussion of flavor and texture between sips of house wine. You’ll leave with a newfound understanding of cheese—how it’s made, what creates each unique variety, and why your favorites taste so good. Duration: 1.5 hours Format: guided tasting with a Murray’s expert in our classroom Includes: 6 cheeses, signature accompaniments Beverages: red and white wine Additional Information In-person classes take place in the classrooms located at our Bleecker Street store. Our classrooms are located upstairs and downstairs at our venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.
