Elmont man arrested for killing 39 year old Hempstead woman

On Valentines Day, 39 year old Rebecca Carlson was found next to a dumpster in the back of Advanced Auto Parts in South Hempstead. She was pronounced dead and it was ruled a homicide. Andrew Avila, 25 of Elmont is in custody fans charged with Murder in the 2nd degree.
