Forest Fridays in Van Cortlandt Park

This event repeats every week on Friday between 8/8/2025 and 9/26/2025 oin the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance for Forest Fridays — a weekly opportunity to restore one of NYC’s most ecologically significant green spaces. Together, we’ll remove species like multiflora rose, bittersweet, and porcelain berry to make space for native plants to thrive. Your hands-on efforts will support the regeneration of this 640-acre urban ecosystem for generations to come.
