Idlewild Park Tree and Shrub Planting

Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to plant trees in the forest of Idlewild Park! Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers, such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs. Volunteers will be trained in proper planting techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long sleeves, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. This event has been funded in part by NOAA.
