LOCATION CHANGE Lesbian and Sapphic July 4th Picnic Central Park W106th St

Welcoming the lesbian, sapphic and queer women community (spouses/partners and family too) to celebrate July 4, 2026 together in harmony Join us for the FIRST International WLW July 4th Picnic! We welcome lesbian, sapphic and queer women (spouses/partners and family are welcome). Please dress in rainbow colors, bring your own food/drinks (this is not a potluck) and something to sit on (portable camping chair, picnic blanket, beach towel, yoga mat, etc.). There will be fun prizes and free giveaway raffles (must be present to win). As of June 18, 2026: LOCATION CHANGE! Great Hill picnic area in Central Park Manhattan. Central Park West and W 106th Street. We will be meeting at the lawn area under the shady trees near the public restroom. Look for the two rainbow umbrellas to find our group. The closest subway station to the Great Hill picnic area and its public restroom (located near West 106th Street inside the park) is the 103rd Street Station Subway Options: 1 Line: Get off at the 103rd Street Station on Broadway. Walk three blocks east to Central Park West, enter the park at West 106th Street, and follow the paths up to the Great Hill. B or C Lines: Get off at the 103rd Street Station along Central Park West. Walk directly east into the park at West 106th Street, which leads right to the Great Hill area. Restroom Specifics: The public restroom is located on the west side of the park near the Great Hill. RAIN OR INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELS THIS FREE EVENT Additonal Notes: If you are a single or solo lesbian or female guest and want to go to dinner or to watch fireworks somewhere in NYC after this event is over, please let the hostess know at 5pm and stay close by.
