Want to purchase your first home? “Turn the Key” may be for you! You may eligible for up to $75,000 in mortgage down payment assistance. “Turn the Key” is part of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker’s historic Housing Opportunities Made Easy (H.O.M.E.) Plan. Through “Turn the Key”, income eligible first-time homebuyers can receive up to $75,000 in mortgage buydown assistance and a $10,000 Philly First Home Grant to help with closing costs toward the purchase of a newly constructed home built on vacant city owned land. The“Turn the Key” Open House is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event. On Saturday, March 21, 2026, 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, you will have the opportunity to connect directly with “Turn the Key” developers, “Turn the Key” approved lenders and other homebuying resources.
